Case Study: Impact Investment

£10m equity investment in Shaw Healthcare a mission-led and for-profit healthcare business. Shaw operated c75 adult residential care homes and specialist care facilities across the UK with >£120m annual revenue and >3000 employees.

Role: Scott led the investment for impact fund Bridges Evergreen; the purpose of which was to support the growth of Shaw as a leading “for purpose” private provider of elder residential care to local authorities.

Result: Supported the transition of Shaw to becoming the largest employee-owned healthcare provider in the UK. Successfully exited following this change.
